This group covers Japanese, Korean, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and other Asian cuisines that are not Chinese, and the etiquette varies by kitchen. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. San Jose is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around San Jose is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

The moment the grill ignites, the entire space transforms into a stage. Flames rise, metal sings, and your carefully chosen ingredients face their brief, intense destiny. It feels theatrical, almost ceremonial. When the bowl returns, it carries more than food β it carries the echo of that transformation. Dining here is not passive; itβs participation in a small, controlled chaos that somehow resolves into harmony.

We frequent Gobi pretty often. Today I saw an offer for a buy one get one free 17.99. After all door dasher charges, over $30. Not much of a deal. I placed an order for the protein deal. When door dasher delivered, I seriously thought they forgot the food. The bag was so light. This is what I found when I opened the bag. Shame on you Gobi

If there is 6 stars I would give 6 stars! Super cost effective and delicious food after workout in the City Sports gym nearby. You are allowed to choose two full bowls of ingredients, including various meats, tofu, and other proteins, as well as wide range of veggies and carbons. You also build the seasoning recipe by yourself, making this a very healthy post-training meal with all the nutritions fully under your control and guaranteed the amount. It only costs $20 for the dinner. The front desk lady is also very nice and she built the seasonings for me which is delicious. I would say this is so far the only restaurant in Bay Area that I will feel sad about if it is closed someday. (Hopefully never happens)ππ»
